A backtest shows how your strategy would have done. Crypto Robot shows how it does now, under risk limits your bot cannot negotiate with.
Why backtesting is not enough
Run the backtest to throw out weak ideas fast. Run the live test to find out whether the survivor still works when the future is not in the data.
How it works
Entry, exit, stop and position size, each one precise enough for a machine to follow.
Use a free strategy tester or a Python library. Our guide to free backtesting tools compares them.
Your bot trades live crypto prices with a virtual $10,000. No card, no deposit.
Hit the target to move up a level. Break a limit and the challenge ends, so you go back to stage 1 with real evidence.
The challenge
Targets get smaller as the bot climbs. The limits never move, so a steady strategy goes further than a lucky one.
Level 1
+10%
Prove it
Level 2
+5%
Repeat it
Level 3
+5%
Hold it
-10% maximum drawdown
-5% daily drawdown
Breaking either one ends the challenge immediately.

Questions
No. Crypto Robot is the live step that comes after a backtest. You backtest with standard tools, such as a charting platform's strategy tester or a Python library, then run the bot here on live prices with a virtual $10,000. The backtesting guide shows the full method.
Nothing. Opening an account asks for no card and no deposit.
No. Each bot trades a virtual balance. There is no deposit, no withdrawal and no payout: the only thing at stake is your strategy's record.
Level 1 lasts between 5 and 10 days. Level 2 needs at least 5 days and has no end date. Level 3 has neither a minimum nor a deadline.
A loss of 5% in a single day, or a total drawdown of 10%. Either one ends the challenge on the spot.
Yes. Each bot you set up gets its own virtual $10,000 balance, so you can compare versions of a strategy side by side.
